Sadie Sharp

“On a mission to transform the world of work”

Sadie made an early start in the world of management consultancy at the tender age of 22, and then went on to launch her own consultancy company just 2 years later. Since then, Sadie has been one of the youngest freelance female management consultants in the UK, and over the past 10+ years she has started 5 companies, mentored CEO’s, trained over 10,000 managers, spoken in front of audiences of 800+ people, done stand-up comedy, and launched a youth development social enterprise.

She has been labelled a disruptive futurist, where her background in strategic HR, organisation re-design, change management, and leadership development have enabled her to develop an “unerring knack” of identifying, analysing and challenging trends and causal patterns in individuals and organisations, whilst also being able to provide an inspiringly practical yet refreshingly novel approach on how to transform the world we live and work in.

Sadie now heads up a number of strategically innovative companies, applying her fresh thinking and innovative approach to help a range of international organisations disrupt the way they operate and transform their practices.

In her speaking and publications, she draws upon her own personal and professional experiences, insights and forecasts to deliver a thought provoking and inspirational insight into the world of work, the organisational practices that hold us back, and the possibilities that life can hold if you let it, and she never fails to entertain with her dry sense of humour and (corporately honed!) stand-up comedy experience.

  • The power of inexperience – how your biggest weakness can be your biggest strength
  • Early life crisis – how success can break you, but your recovery can be the making of you
  • Futureproofing – what tomorrows organisations and their workforce will look like, and how to start getting there today
  • Lasting leadership lessons – a powerful insight into the “fairytale” stories that define the ups and downs of leadership
  • Beyond best practice – how the common “best practices” that we adhere to everyday at work are holding us back and setting us up for a fall

“I would like to say thank you to Sadie for providing such an insightful and practical presentation. It made me think about alternative ways of perceiving, approaching and dealing with both work and life situations, thereby enabling me to work towards constructive problem solving. Sadie was thoughtful and engaging throughout, and I will definitely be looking to attend her other sessions in the future.”
Devi Whittle, University of Exeter

“Sadie is an exceptional speaker. Not only did she go above and beyond to tailor her session to suit the needs of my particular audience and the theme of my conference, but her exceptional experience and style meant that she engaged the delegates from the outset, inspired them to take action, and provided them with practical insight into how to put her pointers into action. She was by far the best speaker of all of the ones that I booked for the conference, and I intend to book again for next year!”
Cerys Ashley, Founder and conference organiser
